We have 5 Amazing Young men with Aspergers that gone and hang out..
Bill Gates- 18 years old, more computer savvy than our school's computer Specialist.
Puff Daddy -18 years old, the only kid that i know with Aspergers that has several girlfriends at a time.
Emeril,17 years old, has OCD and a major eating obsession!
Picasso, 16 years old, amazing artist- very sensitive.
Bogart, 16 years old, the movie man, favorite quote is.. I am only 1 percent special.
These guys run in and out of our lives, we see Bill Gates, Emeril and Bogart daily, or twice daily. Puff Daddy and Picasso are more self sufficient...
Introducing.. Man Girdle,my facilitator.. he is not a happy person..he is very grumpy and overwieght and feels that the world revolves around him. He only goes to our room if he is s earthing for a snack....

A day in the life of...
My adorable students...and how we roll..
I am a self contained Autism teacher at a High School. I have 11 students, an amazing classroom assistant, a plethora of General Education Student Advocates, a husband who teaches upstairs, and some awesome friends who love us all!
My classroom consists on 6 fully self contained students and 5 boys with Aspergers who run in and out, eat me out of house and home and give me plenty to write about!
My 6 kiddos are uniqule. I love them with all of my heart.
My BOYS...
Megamind- 15 years old- typical autism, loves to build with legos and yell at his peers if he does not get his own way.
Mr.Goody Two Shoes- 14 ears old MR, Autism, Fetal Alcohol/Drug Exposure. Love hot cheetos, ramen noodles and coffee.
Mr. Cool- 15 years old, Autism. Non-Verbal PECs user, loves to write and eats food like it is giong out of style!
Spidermonkey- 14 years old MR/Autism, Builder of swords and protector of all. Perhaps the best advocate of them all.
My GIRLS
Hello Kitty, 19 years old- Autism, amazing artist and in charge of telling everyone what to do.
Tinkerbell- 19 years old- MR/Autism, amazing spirit and puts up with everyone in the room with a smile.
Myself... Mother Goose, protector of the Ducklings...
My awesome classroom assistant... Papa Bear.. 250 pounds of football playing, basketball coaching major muscle, with a sweet tooth and enough love to go around.

Story of the day..
Today, Papa Bear gave me a list of items to get at walmart for our after school athletes... Mr. Goody Two Shoes then gave me a list of what to purchase at McDonalds.... "Red Frys"" for himself. I asked about his friends, and he said- they can eat in the Cafeteria today... NICE TRY!!
